Welcome to TrainersConnect. These Terms & Conditions govern access to and use of the TrainersConnect website, including trainer registration, professional profile listings, subscription services, enquiries, connections, ratings, feedback and referral benefits.
By accessing the website, registering an account, purchasing a subscription or using any of its services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
1. About TrainersConnect
TrainersConnect is an online platform designed to connect trainers, coaches, mentors, consultants, instructors, facilitators, educators, wellness professionals, sports coaches and other experts with organisations and individuals seeking their services.
The platform enables professionals to create profiles showcasing their expertise and allows users to search for, discover and contact listed professionals.
TrainersConnect acts as a platform facilitating professional discovery and initial connections. It does not itself provide, conduct or guarantee the delivery of training programmes, coaching sessions, workshops or other professional services listed by independent trainers.
2. Trainer Registration and Membership
2.1. Professionals may register on TrainersConnect by completing the registration process and providing the required information.
2.2. Trainer membership is offered on an annual subscription basis and is valid for one year from the date of activation, unless otherwise specified at the time of purchase.
2.3. A standard trainer membership permits the member to select:
One primary training domain.
Up to three subtopics under the selected domain.
2.4. Additional subtopics beyond the permitted limit may be added by paying the applicable additional listing fee. The current fee for adding an additional topic is ₹300 per topic, subject to the terms displayed at the time of purchase.
2.5. Trainers are responsible for ensuring that all information submitted in their profiles is accurate, complete, current and lawful.
2.6. Trainers must possess the qualifications, certifications, licences, registrations and other credentials required by applicable law for the services they offer. Trainers must not misrepresent their qualifications or professional experience.
2.7. TrainersConnect reserves the right to request clarification or supporting documentation, correct inaccurate information, restrict a listing or remove a profile that violates these Terms & Conditions or applicable law.
3. Subscription Benefits and Limitations
A subscription enables a trainer to create and maintain a professional listing on TrainersConnect, subject to the applicable membership features and platform policies.
The subscription may provide profile visibility, discoverability through website searches, the ability to showcase expertise and the opportunity to receive enquiries from interested organisations and individuals.
A subscription does not guarantee training assignments, client enquiries, employment, revenue, bookings, referrals, professional collaborations or any minimum number of opportunities.
The number and quality of enquiries, if any, may depend on several factors, including the trainer’s profile, expertise, location, client requirements, competition, demand and platform usage.
TrainersConnect does not promise that a trainer will receive any particular result merely by registering or maintaining an active membership.
4. Role and Responsibilities of TrainersConnect
TrainersConnect facilitates the discovery of professionals and helps interested users initiate contact with listed trainers.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, TrainersConnect:
Does not employ trainers listed on the website.
Does not act as the employer, agent or representative of a trainer or client.
Does not independently determine a trainer’s professional fees or commercial terms.
Does not negotiate training fees, programme scope, dates, duration or payment terms on behalf of the parties.
Does not collect commission on training assignments merely because a trainer and client connect through the platform.
Does not guarantee the accuracy of every claim made by a trainer or the suitability of a trainer for a particular assignment.
TrainersConnect may introduce features, support services or additional commercial arrangements in the future. Any such arrangement will be subject to separately communicated terms.
5. Responsibilities of Organisations and Individuals
Organisations and individuals may search for trainers and review available professional profiles without paying a search or discovery fee, subject to the website’s applicable terms.
Users are responsible for:
Evaluating a trainer’s qualifications, experience and suitability.
Verifying credentials where necessary.
Communicating their requirements clearly.
Discussing and finalising programme details and commercial terms directly with the selected trainer.
Making their own informed decision before engaging a professional.
The platform’s listing of a trainer should not be interpreted as an unconditional endorsement, guarantee or certification by TrainersConnect.
6. Direct Engagement Between Trainers and Clients
Once an organisation or individual expresses interest in a trainer, all further discussions concerning the proposed engagement take place directly between the trainer and the prospective client.
The parties are responsible for mutually agreeing on:
Training topics and learning objectives.
Number and profile of participants.
Programme duration and delivery format.
Venue, dates and scheduling.
Professional fees and payment arrangements.
Travel, accommodation and other expenses, where applicable.
Cancellation, postponement and rescheduling terms.
Deliverables, responsibilities and other contractual conditions.
The trainer and client should document their agreed terms wherever appropriate.
TrainersConnect is not a party to the training contract or engagement between them and does not assume responsibility for the performance of either party, subject to any non-excludable obligations under applicable law.
7. Subscription Renewal and Expiry
7.1. Each annual subscription remains valid for the applicable membership period.
7.2. Trainers are responsible for monitoring their subscription expiry date and renewing their membership if they wish to continue their listing.
7.3. Unless expressly stated otherwise, renewal is not automatic and requires the trainer to complete the applicable renewal process.
7.4. Upon expiry without renewal, the profile may be deactivated, hidden from public search or otherwise restricted.
7.5. Any renewal fee, applicable features and membership conditions will be displayed before renewal.
8. Cancellation and Refund Policy
All subscription purchases are intended to be final and non-refundable, subject to applicable law.
8.1. Once a subscription has been purchased and activated, the subscriber is not entitled to cancel it for a refund merely because they change their mind, do not use the platform, receive fewer enquiries than expected or do not secure a training assignment.
8.2. Refunds are not ordinarily provided for unused membership periods, failure to attract enquiries, dissatisfaction with the number of opportunities received, or a decision to stop using the website.
8.3. Fees paid for additional topics or listing enhancements are also non-refundable once the relevant service has been applied or activated.
8.4. TrainersConnect does not guarantee business outcomes or training assignments as a benefit of subscription.
8.5. If a payment is deducted more than once for the same transaction, a payment is processed in error, or a refund or reversal is required under applicable law, the subscriber may contact TrainersConnect for review and appropriate resolution.
8.6. Nothing in this policy excludes or restricts any refund, remedy or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.
8.7. Any refund that is accepted or legally required will be processed in accordance with applicable law and the relevant payment provider’s procedures.
Users are advised to review the membership features and conditions carefully before completing payment.
9. Additional Topic Listings
9.1. The standard membership includes one primary domain and up to three subtopics under that domain.
9.2. Additional subtopics may be added upon payment of the applicable fee, currently ₹300 per additional topic.
9.3. An additional topic must be relevant to the trainer’s genuine expertise and professional services.
9.4. TrainersConnect may decline or remove a topic that is misleading, unlawful, irrelevant to the trainer’s stated qualifications or inconsistent with the platform’s policies.
9.5. Additional topic listings remain subject to the validity and terms of the relevant membership unless otherwise stated.
10. Referral Benefits Policy
TrainersConnect may operate a referral programme to encourage existing members to introduce other eligible trainers to the platform.
10.1. An existing member may refer another trainer using the referral method or link provided by TrainersConnect.
10.2. A referral benefit becomes eligible only when the referred trainer completes registration, satisfies the programme requirements and successfully completes the required subscription payment.
10.3. Subject to confirmation of an eligible referral, the referring member may receive a referral credit equivalent to ₹300.
10.4. The referral credit may be used for either:
- Adding an eligible additional training topic to the member’s profile; or
- Redemption towards the member’s next annual subscription, subject to the applicable programme conditions.
10.5. Referral credits are not cash payments, are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash unless expressly permitted by TrainersConnect.
10.6. Referral benefits will not be granted for duplicate accounts, self-referrals, fraudulent registrations, cancelled or reversed payments, or referrals that do not satisfy the programme requirements.
10.7. Members must not engage in misleading advertising, spam, impersonation or other improper conduct to generate referrals.
10.8. TrainersConnect may verify referral eligibility and maintain records of referrals and credits.
10.9. TrainersConnect may amend, suspend or discontinue its referral programme prospectively by giving appropriate notice, subject to any referral benefit already validly earned and any applicable legal obligations.
11. Ratings and Feedback
11.1. TrainersConnect may provide a feedback and rating feature for organisations and individuals who have completed a training programme or other engagement with a listed professional.
11.2. Feedback should reflect a genuine experience and must be honest, relevant and based on the actual engagement.
11.3. Users must not submit fabricated reviews, manipulate ratings, impersonate another person, post unlawful content or publish confidential information or personal data without a lawful basis.
11.4. TrainersConnect may moderate, hide or remove reviews that violate these Terms & Conditions, applicable law or the platform’s review guidelines.
11.5. TrainersConnect does not guarantee that every review is independently verified or that ratings alone establish the quality, competence or suitability of a trainer.
11.6. A trainer must not attempt to improperly influence, threaten or reward a user to secure a favourable review.
12. User Conduct and Account Security
Users must provide truthful information, maintain the confidentiality of their login credentials and use the website only for lawful purposes.
Users must not:
Submit false, misleading or fraudulent information.
Impersonate another individual or organisation.
Upload unlawful, defamatory, infringing or harmful material.
Misuse another person’s personal or professional information.
Attempt to disrupt, damage or gain unauthorised access to the website.
Use the platform for spam, harassment, fraud or other prohibited conduct.
Users are responsible for activity undertaken through their accounts, subject to applicable law and any unauthorised access not attributable to their actions.
13. Privacy and Use of Information
TrainersConnect may collect and process information required to register accounts, create professional profiles, operate the website, facilitate enquiries, administer subscriptions, manage referrals and maintain platform security.
Information displayed publicly will depend on the details submitted by the user and the platform’s profile settings.
Personal information will be handled in accordance with the TrainersConnect Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.
Users should not upload confidential client information, sensitive personal information or third-party data unless they have the necessary authority and lawful basis to do so.
14. Intellectual Property
Users retain ownership of content they lawfully own and submit to TrainersConnect.
By submitting profile information, photographs, biographies, logos and other materials, users grant TrainersConnect permission to host, display, reproduce and use those materials as reasonably necessary to operate, promote and provide the platform, subject to the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Users confirm that they have the rights and permissions necessary to submit such materials.
The TrainersConnect name, logo, website design, original content and other platform materials may not be copied, reproduced or commercially exploited without appropriate permission, except where permitted by law.
15. Profile Suspension and Removal
TrainersConnect may suspend, restrict or remove a profile where it reasonably believes that the user has:
Provided false or misleading information.
Violated these Terms & Conditions.
Engaged in fraudulent, abusive or unlawful conduct.
Infringed another person’s rights.
Misused the platform or compromised its security.
Where reasonably appropriate, TrainersConnect may request clarification or allow the user an opportunity to address the issue.
Suspension or removal does not automatically entitle a subscriber to a refund, subject to applicable law and the circumstances of the case.
16. Limitation of Responsibility
TrainersConnect facilitates discovery and connections but does not guarantee the conduct, performance, availability, qualifications, suitability or outcomes of any independent trainer or client.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, TrainersConnect is not responsible for:
- The quality or outcome of a training programme.
- Disputes concerning fees, payments, scheduling or deliverables between trainers and clients.
- A trainer’s failure to attend or complete an engagement.
- A client’s failure to make payment or fulfil agreed responsibilities.
- Losses arising from a user’s inaccurate information or independent decisions.
- Temporary website interruptions, technical errors or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes liability where such exclusion is prohibited by applicable law, or limits any statutory rights or remedies that users are entitled to exercise.
17. Changes to These Terms
TrainersConnect may update these Terms & Conditions to reflect changes in the platform, services, policies or applicable law.
Updated terms will be published on the website with a revised “Last Updated” date. Where required by law, appropriate notice or consent will be obtained.
Continued use of the platform after an update will be subject to the updated terms to the extent legally permitted.
18. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India.
Any dispute will be addressed in accordance with applicable Indian law. Nothing in this clause restricts a user’s right to approach a competent consumer forum, court, authority or other legally available dispute-resolution mechanism.
